North Carolina Winter Scenes

January/February 2011 • Category: Features Print This Page Print This Page

North Carolina’s winter scenes unfold at some of the state’s most noteworthy places. Piles of snow measured in feet can be found in the western mountains while the constant ocean waves continue to lap the state’s beaches no matter the temperature. Winter doesn’t grip most of North Carolina as tightly in areas farther north, but the season still gives the opportunity to enjoy the state’s natural beauty.
