The USDA has published an interesting story about an Iraqi cooperative and the American volunteers who are also helping the country's farmers develop their farm industry. It can be found at the following link: http://www.rurdev.usda.gov/rbs/pub/openmag.htm

I could not help but notice the weapons of mass destruction Lt. Burt had on and the sharply contrasting artifacts in the Iraqi man's hand. However much "good" we as a nation might do, there is a world of difference between me voluntarily supporting a missionary effort to help farmers or me supporting a merchant as a business endeavor to rent farm equipment to Iraqies; and the coersion involved with our mercenaries extending our empire. My choice is for missionaries and merchants not mercenaries. Iraq has never been a remote threat to the USA, had no relation to the 9/11 attack and our action as a nation around the world is one of spreading terror. I look forward to the awakening of American's to our birthright as the land of the free, and not just the theoretically free.
