The next episode of North Carolina Farm Bureau Magazine’s satellite television show is completely devoted to one important subject—North Carolina’s water.

Farm Bureau’s special program will look at the quality and the quantity of the state’s water supply as described by several relevant and credible sources.

Viewers will hear from officials with the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources who help regulate and enforce water related laws and issues, a scientist from Eastern North Carolina who is neck deep in water research, and several of the state’s farmers who are on the front lines of protecting the water supply.

In addition to the current outlook for water, the show’s guests will also attempt to look into the future of water in the state and what can reasonably be expected on the horizon.

The program is currently scheduled to air at 6:30 p.m., Wed., Jan 21, 2009 on Dish Network’s Channel 231 and Direct TV’s Channel 379.

Check local listings closer to the scheduled airing, as this time is subject to change.
